At KIPS School, the Continuous Assessment System (CAS) is the foundation of student evaluation, ensuring a well-rounded education and fostering a love for lifelong learning. CAS provides regular feedback on both learning and teaching, promoting a formative approach to education that evolves through feedback and student engagement, fostering classroom empathy
KIPS School supports CAS for four core reasons:
Early Years students are closely monitored and remedied through series of CAS (monthly) and term exams (biannually). To ensure the holistic development of KIPSians, Areas of Learning as well as Areas of Development are evaluated.
For Juniors & Lower secondary students, assessments include class tests, round tests, term exams, & final exams to track students’ progress. Tests are followed by discussions to correct mistakes & ensure learning.
The secondary students undergo round tests, terminal exams, & KIPS Revision & Test Session (RnT). This system, designed for continuous improvement, is a hallmark of KIPS School’s approach to academic excellence.
